What is the Oracle ACE Program?
The Oracle ACE Program is designed to recognize and reward members of the Oracle Technology and Applications communities for their contributions. These individuals are technically proficient and share their knowledge and experiences through presentations, blog posts, articles, social media posts, community forum support and more. The Oracle ACE Program award is given for a one year term and past members are Oracle ACE Alumni.
The program is comprised of 3 levels: Oracle ACE Associate, Oracle ACE, and Oracle ACE Director. The Oracle ACE Associate award is the base level entry into the program for those who are just getting started with their community activities and aspire to contribute at higher levels. The Oracle ACE award recognizes established community contributors for their efforts. The Oracle ACE Director award is for community enthusiasts who not only share their knowledge (usually in extraordinary ways), but also want to increase their advocacy and work more proactively with Oracle to find opportunities for the same.
Who is eligible?
Candidates should be proficient in their area of expertise and demonstrate their willingness to share their knowledge and experience. Areas of contribution or activity include but are not limited to:
Forum participation, including community.oracle.com and StackOverflow
Content submissions such as technical papers, articles, code samples, utilities
Oracle book authorship
Oracle-related blogs
Speaking at conferences or at online events, including user group events, webinars, and meetups
Open source projects on GitHub
User group and/or meet-up leadership
Participation in Oracle programs such as the Customer Reference Program
Please note Oracle employees are not eligible to participate in the program.
How do I make a nomination and can I nominate myself?
You can nominate yourself for consideration for the Oracle ACE Associate and Oracle ACE levels. Oracle ACE Director nominations must include both an Oracle product manager and an Oracle ACE Director reference and cannot be submitted by the candidate or the candidate’s co-worker. Please fill out the application in as much detail as possible. For each community contribution, include a URL link so the activity can be verified. Award recipients will be selected based on their qualifications. You can submit a nomination here.
What are the types of contributions considered for acceptance into the Oracle ACE Program?

How long is the nomination review period?
